Texas Legal Giants — Official Giveaway Rules

Texas Legal Giants (“Sponsor”) periodically conducts social media giveaways (“Promotion”) on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Texas Legal Giants, their immediate family members, and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, or hiring of legal services is necessary to enter or win. Participation in this Promotion is completely free. A purchase or retention of legal services will not increase your chances of winning.

4. How to Enter

To enter, leave a comment on the designated Promotion post on one of the following Texas Legal Giants social media channels during the Promotion Period:

• Instagram: instagram.com/TexasLegalGiants
• Facebook: facebook.com/TexasLegalGiants

One entry per person per post. Entries that contain offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content will be disqualified. Participation is not conditioned on hiring, referring, or recommending legal services to any person.

5. Promotion Period

Each Promotion runs on a per-post basis. The Promotion Period begins when the designated post is published and ends at the time specified in the post caption, or within 7 days of posting if no end time is specified. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten any Promotion Period.

6. Winner Selection

Winners are selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Multiple winners may be selected per post. Selection is not based on skill, merit, legal need, or any affiliation with Texas Legal Giants. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Prize

Each winner receives a cash prize sent via CashApp. Prize amounts vary per Promotion and will be stated in the individual post. No minimum prize amount is guaranteed. Past prize amounts are not indicative of future prize amounts. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent will be offered except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

8. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified via comment reply or direct message on the platform where they entered. Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification or forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Texas Legal Giants is not responsible for unclaimed prizes.

9. Tax Obligations

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes received. Winners who receive prizes totaling $600 or more in a single calendar year will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 before prizes are awarded. A Form 1099-MISC will be issued as required by law.

10. Attorney-Client Relationship

Participation in this Promotion does not create an attorney-client relationship between the participant and Texas Legal Giants or BJ Kemp. Winning a prize does not entitle the winner to free or discounted legal services. This Promotion is not a form of legal solicitation and is not conditioned on the retention, referral, or recommendation of legal services.

11. Platform Release

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC, or any other platform. All questions, comments, and complaints regarding this Promotion must be directed to Texas Legal Giants, not to any platform. By participating, entrants release each platform from any and all liability arising from this Promotion.

12. General Conditions

• Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion at any time for any reason.
• Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or acts in a disruptive manner.
• By entering, participants grant Sponsor permission to use their username or comment publicly in connection with the Promotion.
• This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) failed, lost, or misdirected entries; (b) technical failures of any kind; (c) unauthorized human intervention; (d) printing or typographical errors; or (e) any injury or damage arising from participation in this Promotion.

14. Privacy

Information collected through this Promotion is subject to Texas Legal Giants’ Privacy Policy available at TexasLegalGiants.com/privacy-policy/. Texas Legal Giants will not sell or share participant information with third parties except as required to administer the Promotion or as required by law.
